My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

Date Night

What do you do when your friend/neighbor offers to watch your kids so you can have a date night with your husband? You take her up on the offer, of course. Who can pass up free babysitting!
Wanting to do something different besides watching a movie, we thought we'd go bowling. It was league night at the bowling alley. Scratch that idea. Fine, movie theater next. I think we were the only ones there last night who were not there to see 'New Moon'. In fact, there wasn't anything of interest to watch. That's when we decided we'd just rent a movie, and instead of going home, we took Cory's laptop and headed up the canyon to watch it. It turned out to be a lot of fun. It was so nice to just spend time being husband and wife, without any other worries. We need to do that a little more often. Thanks, Melissa and Laren for being so kind to watch the kids so we could go out on a date.

1 now let's hear it from you:

I love date night. Leaving the kids behind and doing something fun. It's great to rekindle that romance. Good for you. Good for Melissa and Laren to give you that opportunity too.
