My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

New Years

Well, we did it. This year for New Years we actually stayed up to ring in the new year. It wasn't easy, but we did it. I don't have pictures because I was too busy having fun with my family.

Not only did we have Amberlee and her family here, my sister, Shauna and her family drove up from Az. Because Shauna and Amberlee were here, Paul and Mike also drove up from Southern Utah. We tried to talk Wendy into coming out from Co. since we haven't seen her family since they moved out from Alaska. She doesn't know what she missed out on. We had a fun party at Bonnie's house. Hand and Foot has become the game of choice for our family. Amberlee and I kicked the snot out of everyone out of Mom, Paul, Kepi, and Mike. When it came time for the new year, we ran outside, made lots of noise and then went home.

It was fun having the family here. This is the first time I can remember spending the new year with Shauna. Thanks, sis, and bros for making the trip. What a great way to bring in the New Year.

3 now let's hear it from you:

Well, gee! Why weren't we invited??? Oh, fine, just go on partying without us! :-(

Jeremy got to go to a youth New Year's Eve activity, so I let the kids stay up a late and watch a movie with me. At least I wasn't ALL alone the WHOLE night. So I rang in the new year alone while watching a movie by myself, though. Whoopie! Happy New Year! :-)
