My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

Bryce Canyon

 bryce canyon 221

We took a weekend trip to Bryce Canyon with the family. The two older boys are getting old enough that before we hit 30 miles from home they were already thinking this was a very looong drive.

This is where we set up headquarters- Ruby's Inn Camp Ground at the mouth of Bryce Canyon. Can't say we slept that great, but we had a lot of fun.

Bryce Canyon was nothing like I expected. It was very deceiving. Driving through it, all you see is fur trees everywhere. It isn't until you follow the signs to the lookouts and hike a little ways up the trail that you find the beautiful red rock  formations hidden below.

While we may not have had the up close and personal tour of  Bryce Canyon my brother did, we did enjoy the scenery just the same. Being with family topped it all.

It was an exhausting trip.

I loved Bryce. We got to see him one day. I did however have many anxiety attacks while I was there as I have a fear of heights for my kids.
