My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

I'm Published

Well, here it is! My first book. I know, it's just my blog book, but hey, isnt' it great!
I often wonder why I still blog. I started a couple of years ago because it was a fun way to keep in touch with my sisters. We had so much fun laughing at our silliness. Now, I'm about the only one who blogs and I am tempted sometimes to just give it up. Then something funny happens and I just can't help it. I am not creative enough to scrapbook. I don't develop pictures. They are all stored on my computer. This is the easiest way to preserve all our memories. Blogging has kept me somewhat sane. It tends to bring out my sense of humor. Just a little. And, I can make it into a book. I made one for me, my parents and my in-laws for Christmas. When they are gone, I can have them back for my kids. I'm not going to wait another two years to do the next one. It's much easier to do them a year at a time. And, I'm going to make sure I edit a little better next time. I tried a couple different online companies and decided I liked blurb.com because it after it slurps your blog over, you can edit and do whatever you want with it, and it was the cheaper of the two.

8 now let's hear it from you:

Love the book, I am doing mine a year at a time. I'm glad you keep blogging. This just means that we will have to keep doing fun stuff in order to keep your blog going. Pres. Eyering also asked us to keep a journal so you could argue that you are following our leaders.

We've talked about "bookifying" Boo's dino blog for a few years. Looks like yours turned out well.

Oh, and at least for Meadow's and my sake, please never stop blogging! You're a daily read in the Thomsen household.

Great idea, Sharon!! I cut and paste my entries into a Word Doc. so I can print it out and put with my family history. Well, that's the general idea...I've been blogging for 3 years now and have half a year done :/ Goal for this year in the making :)

Who published it? My friend, Leslie, that started me on this dang thing, used that "journal" excuse and got me hooked. But, she said she was having a hard time finding a company that would print the blogspot blogs...
