My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

Dirty Secrets

Are any of you like me and have a to-do list with items on it that have been there forever because you are afraid of what's waiting for you when you do decide to do them? So, they just stay on the list for another day that will never come. Well, I'm going to let you in on a dirty little secret of mine. I'm going to take you behind my stove with me.

This!
Is what has been waiting for me. Pretty gross, huh?
When my husband decided he wanted to pull the stove out to tile behind it instead of just around it, I was forced to take a look at what was hiding under my stove. I had no other choice but to clean it.
It turns out, as gross as it was, it really wasn't so bad to clean it up and it feels good to know it's clean.
Clean under the stove: Check
Let's see, what's next on my list?
What's hiding under your stove?

9 now let's hear it from you:

When we were painting our kitchen, we just painted around the stove so i have no clue what lies lurking under there, and I probably never will.

I just got a new stove, so I am proud to say that nothing is lurking underneath, for the first time in oh, 7 years!!!

Don't feel too, too bad. I have seen such yucky stuff behind and under my stove over the years that I have now refused to look, or be present when the stove is moved... That is my dirty little secret...

Hey Shaney, what was behind your stove before you got a new one. We all want to know. :)

I have not moved M&D's stove since I have been here, but I am sure there is something there that belongs to each person in the family. Do you all want to come and see? There could be some wonderful treasures there.
