My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

The Blue Angels

We took a trip to St. George in March to see the Blue Angels Air Show. I took a lot of pictures of the boys swimming and in the motel the night before. I wasn't as great about taking pictures at the air show. Cory did video a lot of it, but I'm not going to post that.

We had a lot of fun. We got to sit with my brother Mike and his boys and Chantra and Sunnie. Paul thought he was a big shot out there helping with the show. The show was awesome. The crowd was large. The best part of the show was the Raptor. The Blue Angels were amazing. It was all so cool. This was a first for me, so I really enjoyed it. Kind of funny to note that while there was this awesome air show going on overhead, the boys were more interested in what a little handheld device with all it's apps. There has got to be something wrong with that. Just as the show was getting over, the wind picked up and we tried to beat the crowds out to the parking lot - we lost Cory somewhere in there, so it was me with the 5 crying boys walking through this sand storm. We did make it to the car, finally, and Cory found us finally, and we pulled out of the parking space and sat there. For an hour. Yep. Just sat there. After an hour, we took it upon ourselves to take a little detour out of the lot. A few others who dared - who were tired of sitting there, followed suit. We probably would have been there for another hour or so. We made it home - tired and dirty - but it was all worth it. If there is a next year, we may just do what lots of other people did and sit out on the hill above the airport to watch the show. Not so crowed there.
