My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

10 Months

Dallin turned 10 months old recently. At 10 months, he's got 8 teeth. He's still not really sleeping through the night. Every once in a while he will sleep until 4:00 or 5:00 am. I've learned not to expect it to last. He's always either teething, or sick and therefore, doesn't sleep well, at all. He just plain doesn't like to sleep. There is too much to see and do. Dallin is a busy boy. He doesn't like to sit still for a minute, unless he's not feeling so well. Then it's all cuddles. He's got to keep up with his brothers. Speaking of - he's started walking the last few weeks. Every day, he's getting more and more confident. It doesn't take any prodding anymore. He's just off  taking several steps all on his own. Much to my relief, his first words were not, "Shut that door!", or "Put him down!", or "DON'T TOUCH HIM!". Instead, his first words as of the last couple of days: "Ki ki ki" (kitty kitty kitty). He LOVES the cat. He gets so excited when he sees the cat outside. The other day, he noticed the cat out the back door and got all excited. Then I heard his first word, "ki ki ki' as he crawled over to the back door. I wasn't quite sure he was purposely saying it, until he's said it repeatedly when he sees the cat.

Everyone loves his hair. It's so soft and sticks straight up. He looks like a dandelion. He is happy, most of the time. He does have some 'tude. He knows what he wants and that's all there is to it. He loves his brothers and they adore him. So. Do. I. He's a special part of our lives. Our family would not be complete without him. We love you, Dallin.

1 now let's hear it from you:

I have yet to see the little guy walk. Everytime Sharon tried, he would just sit down.
