My New Favorite Quote:
"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

A Child's Prayer
My boys are all boy. Most of the time, you will catch them playing cars, catching grasshoppers, worms, rolly pollies, or other disgusting bugs, pretend shooting at each other, or any other boy thing there is. However, once in a while they do like to play house. I have never gone out and bought them dolls. They don't need those to play house. Stuffed animals will do. At this age, I don't worry too much about it. It's fun to watch their little imaginations at work. It's also sort of a reflection of me and my mothering skills. Sometimes I watch and think, 'do I really do that?' Today, Ziki has been playing with his dollar store stuffed horse. He's named it Hustard (couldn't tell you where that came from, but he has named a couple of his stuffed animals Hustard). They watched their little friend throw up yesterday, so today, it's Hustards turn to be sick and throw up. He's taking good care of his sick baby. I asked him earlier how his baby was doing. Not so great. We needed to say a prayer. We had to wait for daddy to finish washing his car, though. As soon as Cory walked in the door, Ziki sat him down to say a prayer for his sick Hustard. How do you tell him, no we don't need to pray for a pretend sick stuffed animal. We let him say it. He asked Heavenly Father to bless Hustard to feel better. I couldn't stop grinning. How can you not resist that!

2 now let's hear it from you:
I love the name. Very unique. He is a smart little kid and is going to be an awesome missionary.
Awww. I love kids with their simple faith. They automatically think Heavenly Father can fix anything, even when you are pretending with a stuffed animal. He sounds like a very sweet little boy!
