Sam's prayers up until recently were short and sweet: "Please bless Matt and Abby. Please bless my dad can drive home safely. Amen." It didn't matter if Dad was standing right there next to him. Even when we would try to coach him a little and encourage him to include other things, he wouldn't be persuaded. That was his prayer and he was sticking to it. 
He's finally changing them. This was his prayer last night.
"Heavenly Father. Please bless me that I don't get hit by a car. Please bless my family that we don't get shot by a gun. Please bless that we don't get eaten by a whale or a shark. Name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
That's my boy.

It's clear that I am the favorite. Of course, the fact that I have been brainwashing him since birth doesn't hurt either. Good job Sam!!
