I know a lot of these are about Sam, but he is at just that age where he is saying the funnies things.
He just came in from outside crying, again, because older brother sometimes feels the need to pick on him. He sat in my arms feeling all dejected while I tried to comfort him. In his sad, dejected voice he asked, "Mom? Will you give me your life?"
I was taken aback by this and asked why he wanted my life? He said, "because Ammon just hurt me."
I asked, "what are you going to do with my life?"
"I won't throw it or hurt it. I'll give you my life and you give me your life."
Melt. My. Heart.
Sam, I hope you know I would give my life for you, any day. I do love you that much.
My New Favorite Quote:
"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson
