Because the Lord will put you to the test! Before I knew what I was doing this morning, I was praying for patience. I caught myself after it was too late.
And this is what I get -
Now come on -what little boy can resist sticking a water hose in that and turning the water on full blast?Doesn't he know this will be the result?
My New Favorite Quote:
"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

8 now let's hear it from you:
Okay, so I once heard that we shouldn't pray for patience but instead pray for opportunities to come along to teach us patience.
Crazy huh? I'll be that's what you think after this, right?
Sounds like you passed the test though.
Looks like you need better covers for them thar pipes
Boys will be boys. I'm sure you handled it better than I would have. Lesson learned. Besides you can't stay mad at those cute little guys.
Hahaha! That is just too funny! See how creative they are! You can't fight that - and you certainly can't prevent that! They will find more avenues to destroy your property than you ever dreamed. If only we could harness that ingenuity!
But take heart... you can always add it to the "You owe me" arm-twisting list when your kids grow up!
That's like when Cory warned me about praying for humility. The Lord will answer those prayers, sometimes with a bit of a grin on His face I imagine. I can say that I think it's funny because it didn't happen to us. You're the best Sharon.
These stories sound so familiar! I gotta admit, though, this one trumps anything we've experienced!
...at least the boys were helping to clean it all up
I'm soooo glad your dryer isn't ruined. And this too shall pass. I'm looking forward to hearing about your next adventure. ;)
