I'll never forget the day Cory and I got engaged. I walked into the chapel on a Sunday morning where my parents met for church grinning from ear to ear. My mom was sitting at the organ playing the prelude music. She knew right away that something was up. She also had to get up and say the opening prayer in sacrement meeting. With a quivering - no more like sobbing for joy- voice, her prayer included this phrase, "and Heavenly Father, thanks for answering our prayers."
My parents thought I would never get married. Neither did I. But, here I am, 7 years and 4 kids later. It's been a great 7 years. I'm looking forward to many more with my sweetheart.
