It sure feels like it!
The kids are excited to put their books on the shelves!
I have to admit that I was a little worried if it would look good around the window like this, but it turned out great. I like it. No, I love it. And now a paint job is in order for the rest of the basement.
Quality Craft of Rocky Ridge in Mona can be credited for these beautiful bookshelves! They did a perfect job. I'm a little excited. I just hope we can fit all of our books on there.
On a side note:
I purposely had those doors put in under the window to give the babies cupboards to play in. I made a trip to the DI a couple of weeks ago just to get pots and pans for them to play with and thought for sure that would take the babies out of my kitchen cabinets. As I'm typing, Ziki is upstairs crying and screaming because he wants in my pan cupboards. It doesn't matter that I showed him these new ones and put his pans in them. He wants mine! That's all there is to it.

6 now let's hear it from you:
Those look AWESOME!! I am excited. Now I am trying to picture what color you are going to use to cover pappy. Hmm. I don't know, but the shelves look really great.
Wow, those are quite beautiful. That's the thing about kids, they know what they like, and sometimes, they just aren't very easily destracted from it. I'm excited for you guys to get all your books out and start filling those shelves.
OH MY!!! Those look amazing!! Absolutely gorgeous! Lucky!! I love them. I chuckled about him still wanting your pans. :D
They even look better in real life. I am jealous too!
You will love them and yes, even Zeek will come to love them too.
Just start cooking with those DI pans. Maybe they'll become your fave.
They did nice on the shelving. Can't wait to see them full of good books.
That is so cool! Are you going to put a cushion and pillows under the window for cozy reading? I love bookshelves. :)
