My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

Shifting Gears

We're shifting gears around here. Life is changing and will continue to change with all the holidays, and baby coming. Ammon is in school and while it is only a couple of hours a day, it certainly changes things. We're down to the last 10 weeks of this pregnancy. It's getting pretty uncomfortable. This baby is very active. We are getting so excited for his arrival.
I have also been put in the primary for our church. First time I've done primary. It's all new to me. It's been really neat, though. It's so different from young womens. Primary children are so eager to learn and to love and be loved. It's so fun to see their faith. We've got our big primary program coming up in less than a month. I've never done a primary program before. We'll see if we can get it all to come together. That is a temporary stress that will pass soon. Then I just found out I'm in charge of cub scouts, too. I've never done scouts, either. I honestly have no idea how the scouting program works. With 5 boys, I'm going to have to learn soon enough, why not now. I hope the Lord knows what he is doing, because I sure don't. I guess we all need to be stretched at some point in our lives. It's not enough to just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's time to kick it in high gear!

3 now let's hear it from you:

That's awesome! I think you will do so good at that. :) What counselor are you? I got put in last year as the 2nd counselor and I've really enjoyed it. Thankfully I'm not in charge of scouts - I'm doing the activity days girls.

Good luck with it all! If anything, maybe it will make the time pass quicker and before you know it your baby will be here too.

Wow - have fun!! I've never really been in Primary either...but I was Den Leader for about 7-8 months when Joshua was three. I had no clue what I was doing since I'd never had brothers and my son was 3. It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it...and now fast forward 5 years and he's in Cubs and I actually know what he should be doing and it's really helped me. My sister, Carol, just got released from Primary last week after years and years in there. Have fun!
