This is a proud parent moment that I must share. This is from a note that Ammon's teacher sent home a few days ago.
"Cory and Sharon,
I just wanted to write a quick note about Ammon. He's a great kid! I love having him in class. He's a very hard worker. He's incredibly smart. He's friendly, helpful, and funny. He always helps tutor his peers who are struggling. He goes above and beyond! I'm lucky to have him in class. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for him or you. Thanks. Erin Steiner."
Warms my heart. I've gotten the same compliments from his primary teachers, as well. I'm proud of Ammon. He's always so responsible. I can always count on him to get things done. I had to laugh when his teacher called him the Hermione of the class (one of the characters from Harry Potter who always knows the answers in class and is always the first to raise her hand).
I got good reports for all of the boys in school. They are all doing really well. Ben and Isaac are learning to read and write. Sam is a whiz at math and doing well in reading. It's fun to watch them all learn and grow. All of their teachers love having them in their classes.
My New Favorite Quote:
"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson
