My New Favorite Quote:

"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson

Dallin's 1

Our baby is 1 today! My how this year has flown.

First: click this to read about his birth and/or this to watch his birth video.

In his first year, Dallin has mastered:
Smiling
rolling over
sitting up
army crawling
crawling on all fours
walking
dancing
running
going up and down the stairs
going from crawling position to standing up on his own
Now if only he would master the art of sleeping, especially through the night, we'd be making progress.
His vocabulary consists of:
no no
kitty
mom
dad
Where are you
thank you

he also signs dad, milk and eat.

Dallin has always been a busy boy. He loves to explore. His favorite place to play is the toilet. If he sees the bathroom door open, he makes a mad dash to the bathroom, all the while saying 'no no'. He loves his brothers very much. And that is very much recipricated. I would say that he's definitely the favorite brother around here. It's been so fun for them to watch him grow up and reach his milestones. They get so excited for every little thing he does. He lights up when Ammon and Sam come home from school. He also loves it when daddy gets home from work.
He is so much fun. He is such a happy little guy with big blue eyes that are busy taking in the whole world around him.

We celebrated his birthday with Matt and Abby yesterday. They came over for dinner and he got to open his first gift. He didn't really know that he there was a cool toy hidden underneath that wrapping paper.

Happy Birthday, Dallin. You bring so much joy to our family. We love you so much!

1 now let's hear it from you:
