I love that my boys are so easily excited over even the littlest things. It's kind of funny. In this house, going to the dentist is right up there with Christmas and birthdays. I was a little slow scheduling the boys 6 month appointments. Sam has been bugging me for months to make him an appointment for the dentist. That day was today. 8:00 am. Didn't matter that we had to wake up the boys to take them to the dentist. You would have thought it was Christmas morning. Ammon and Sam jumped right out of bed, giddy with excitement because they were FINALLY going to the dentist. Doesn't matter that Ammon has one cavity (mom's not so excited about that). He'll be just as excited to get his cavity filled, that is until they stick him with the numbing shot. I think most of is has to do with all the precious loot they bring home - a new toothbrush, a timer (which has already fallen on the floor and shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces), a small tube of toothpaste, some bubbles, and floss. Isaac and Ben are having to wait a couple more hours for their appointments. They can hardly wait.
Heck, maybe we'll just take them to the dentist for Christmas.
My New Favorite Quote:
"All can walk where Jesus walked when, with His words on our lips, His spirit in our hearts, and His teachings in our lives, we journey through mortality. I would hope that we would walk as he walked with confidence in the future, with an abiding faith in His Father, and with a genuine love for others." President Thomas S. Monson
